Craft Stores

I love crafts and delicious looking dessert crafts! So yummy I could eat them.

This is my favorite shop in Taipei:

And some of my favorite buys are the ones I use to make jewelery. Here are some parts I bought:

My Tokyo pictures

Finally sorted through some pictures. I had gone to Tokyo in the summer. And it was HOT! It seemed like a lot of street side stores didn't like to turn on their air-con. So it was hard to find relief. I had to go to the big department stores or something like that...

This is one of my favorite purchases. A sleeve for my drink! hehe :P
It keeps things cold longer and absorbs a lot of moisture that usually collects outside the bottle. It was so hot I usually froze my drinks in the freezer and then popped it into this handy sleeve.

I liked the interior decoration of this shop.

Outdoor amusement park next to a mall. So awesome.

And a hotel for couples. So hard to sleep when you got...

Karaoke in the room!!

Shibuya was my favorite place to shop.

Harajuku was good too. Can't find a good picture of it. dammit. But there were some crazy costumes (maids and stuff).

Good times!

Lazy Nails + Steak

I like having nice nails but sometimes it just takes a lot of work. So I did this:

Ya, I should really experiment with different colors. But its pretty and maybe looks like it took longer than it actually was to do.

I skipped any base color or coat. Jumped straight to a white floral stamp pattern and a layer of top coat. Add a couple crystals for accent and done!

I bought some tiny nail beads the other day. I loved the assortment of colors and there's quite a lot of them. So maybe I'll experiment with it another day.

I made steak at home a couple days ago and I'm realizing now that the way it tastes really does depend on what kind of beef you buy.

Someone told me this before but I really understand it now that I've cooked steak with different kinds of beef.

Next I should really look for some recipes because I need to work on the flavor. :P

One Big Drink

Now bubble tea comes in SUPER BIG cups in Taipei. One Litre bubble tea! It's perfect when I have a really salty meal and I'm afraid I'll run out of drink.

Black lace

Love this nail design. Pink nails with black lace. One of my new favorites :)

Temperature is dropping these last few days and seems like everyone is getting sick or getting H1N1. I should avoid crowded places...

Fed up with MSN

I'm not sure what's up with MSN or if it's just MSN + Internet router = big annoyance for me.

Before I had problems sending and receiving files with certain people. It seemed better after I updated to the new MSN live.

Now a new problem. I keep getting signed out and in and a whole bunch of messages don't get delivered or received.

I've really had it!

I'm moving on to Trillian. Damn you Microsoft!

Changed nails again. Pink and green sparkly nails. Kinda looks like strawberries.

What's faster than a speeding bullet?

Hint: It's in Shanghai

It's the Maglev!! That runs from the subway to the airport.

It can reach speeds of 500km/h!
So it takes about 7 minutes to get to the airport. But when I took it, it was so fast, that it broke the speed of light and I'm pretty sure I'm living 7 minutes in the future now.

Anyway, here's my new nails. I used a pearl white base, green sparkly polish on the tips and pink butterfly detail.

Sparkly polish is pretty but harder to take off with remover.

Premium Yogurt?

Would you pay more for fancy yogurt? I was craving for frozen yogurt and missing places like TCBY and Yogen Fruz. So when I saw Yogurt Art in Taipei I had to try it.

The selection of frozen yogurt and toppings were attractive. I loaded mine with blue berries and chocolate sprinkles. The design of the place was modern and attracted a lot of young people.

So I grabbed a cup, filled it with vanilla frozen yogurt, added my toppings and then weighed it.

Agghh... it was expensive.

Ok tasting as well. So I probably won't be going back there. But not saying there aren't people who do really like the place because it always seems to be at least half packed with people.
