Dogs at Work
I think more companies should allow employees to bring dogs to work. It makes the owners happy, the dogs happy, and dog lovers at work happy.

Cultus Lake Water Park
This is Cultus lake water park. I have to remember not to go here on a cold or cloudy day.
That's everybody packed in the hot tub.
The slides are fun, the tubing, the valley of fear, the tall crazy slides. But when you're wet and it's cold then you can't really enjoy the rides without shivering and heading for something warm like the hot tub or a towel.
On the plus side, the line-ups are shorter. And besides the slides there's always picnics.

Granville Island Beer
Ok, I'm back from the dead.
Vancouver's Granville Island Brewery has seasonal flavors and regular favorites and you can order sample sizes. Three flavors for the price of about one beer.
This year's seasonal flavor is raspberry beer. yum...

Inflation of Canadian Stamps
I was looking for a stamp to mail my letter within Canada and it's crazy to see the inflation. I still have some old stamps laying around.
1985 $0.32
my stamps are from 2001, $0.46 to mail within Canada
and I've written down that January 17, 2005 it went up to $0.50,
January 16, 2006 it went up to $0.51
and January 15, 2007 it went up to $0.52.
Right now it's at $0.57.
International stamps were $1.40 back in 2002,
$1.45 in 2005 and $1.49 in 2006.
Now it's $1.70.
U.S. Stamps were $0.55 in 2002,
$0.85 in 2006
and now it's $1.00. That's like the biggest jump in price.
It's damn expensive to mail things from Canada now. Add gas taxes and other stuff on top of parcels :S

Haven't been back home for 2 years.
