Winter Nails

This is a nice look for the winter. I stamped each finger with two snowflakes. Except the pinky has one snowflake.




and finished with a transparent green polish with sparkles.




It looks so wintery!

Hot Springs

Yesterday was pretty cold so I went to the hotsprings in Xinbeitou, Taipei. It's so pretty here!




There's steam everywhere and so many places to choose from.




There are public and private hot spring tubs.




I got the private room, where they provide shampoo and body wash.

It was so relaxing and I love it because the minerals in the water makes your body stay warm much longer than taking a hot bath.

Afterward my skin also feels really soft and my hair seems smoother too.




It looks like they're really trying to promote this area because the subway there is specially decorated to look like a hot spring spa.




This train is so cool!




Too bad it takes me about 45 minutes to get there otherwise I'd go more often.

More Dessert Charms and a Sanrio Christmas

Here are some more dessert charms. I'm not sure what else I should make besides earrings.











And I saw a Sanrio Christmas Village at Maritime Square in Hong Kong which was pretty cute. Lots of people lined up to get inside to take pictures with Hello Kitty, Keroppi, Pekkle, etc.










I must say, there's not as much Christmas spirit in Taiwan. It's not really considered a holiday here. So there's not much decorations, signs or carols playing in shops.

Everyone thinks Christmas is getting more and more commercialized. And I think it's true. But how else would it feel like Christmas if not for the decorations and Christmas music everywhere you go.

At Home

I made some sweet earrings with stuff I got from the craft shop.






What's this guy trying to build in his back yard? One seems to be some garden, the other... an outdoor bathroom?? I can see you taking a bath...




Actually it's a nice neighborhood. I like the park nearby and it's so convenient living near a supermarket. A 24 hour supermarket! :D

Foods, sweets, and nails

Here's my nails for this week. A cute shoe lace detail on the thumb and ring finger.





Taiwanese dessert. Mango and strawberry on crushed ice with sweet condensed milk.




This one with mango, tang yuan, and condensed milk. Soooo good!




My friend gave me these Russian chocolates. Delicious!




New Macdonald's fries with wasabi or seaweed flavor powder (I got ripped off on the amount of fries though, I think they were too lazy to make more). Pour powder in the bag and shake!

Hong Kong

I had a short 3 day trip in Hong Kong and I really enjoyed it. There's malls that go up many floors. This one is in Mong kok somewhere. I found it by accident.




And I saw these at a nail salon in there:




And in cosmetic stores I love to buy sample sizes of name-brand beauty skincare brands. It's a much better deal.




7-11's here also have cute promotions. This time it's Hello Kitty charms!




I've never heard of Peach John before but it reminds me of Victoria's secret.




And even Hello Kitty is into it.

Because outside you can buy Hello Kitty toys in sexy underwear.




And I love Sephora!

Orange nails

I used the metallic balls I bought for my nails in this design. Orange nails with dark red tips and I made a line of gold balls on two of the nails.

For the X-mas tree

Here's some Christmas tree decorations that I made. I made an origami star and used leather string and beads from the craft shop.
